Don’t you know how lucky you are to find a taxi who agrees to take your fare?
That may explain the thinking of a taxi driver, whose list of strict rules for passengers was recently noticed and shared online.
“Do not: chew gum, toffee, sweets or eat food,” it begins. “Do not use loose powder, spray perfume or any kinds of chemicals. Please take that somewhere else.”
A photo showing the driver’s mandates was snapped inside the vehicle and passed around on Twitter yesterday, along with an image of its license plate.
The driver’s sense of smell and cleanliness aren’t his only sensitivities though. The rules go on to protect his precious ears from your distracting emissions.
“If you play games, or chat on Whatsapp/Line, turn the sounds off,” he commands. “Don’t just turn it down.”
Lastly, he ended the message with a moral lesson.
“You’re a grown-ass human!” it notes. “Start being considerate, and people will act the same to you. Bangkok has buses too. Taxi don’t care!”
