Ebola suspect found at Suvarnabhumi without Ebola

A perfectly healthy man who sparked a national manhunt because he arrived from an Ebola-affected nation was found and fined this afternoon.

Samuel Sesay, 31 of Sierra Leone, was found at Suvarnabhumi Airport on his way out of the country. He was detained by the airport’s disease control department for a health checkup.

It turns out Samuel is doing well with no fever, and he was released to board his flight to an identified country in Europe.

The man was fined THB1,000 for “violating disease control legislation,” Daily News reported.
