One of the most recognized boy bands from the 1990s has risen from the grave, or their 40s, to come rock Bangkok next year.
Two decades after they first pleaded with the world to “Quit Playin’ Games,” none other than A.J., Nick, Howie, Kevin and Brian, aka The Backstreet Boys, will play an unspecified 2015 date, according to concert promoter BeUS announced Thursday.
The Boys may be in the late-30s and -40s now, but perhaps they alone have the power to transport us to simpler times, when boys could dance around singing pop tunes without ridicule, even if they had Nick Carter’s haircut. Nick’s still cutest, though. Let’s not forget that.
The date for the concert hasn’t been announced, and the Boys themselves have made no public mention of the storm of hip-swings coming to Thailand.
