Hopefully this sticker concept from the recent ‘12 Values’ the Movie doesn’t make the final cut.
If recitals, songs, movies and ? weren’t enough, Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha’s “12 Values” will soon be available as stickers for the popular Line chat application as a “New Year’s gift” from the junta-led government.
Those who express their feelings through Line will be able to incorporate the junta chief’s state-sanctioned wisdom into their chat thanks to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, which has earmarked THB7 million to develop the sticker pack, according to its secretary general, Songporn Komolsuradech.
That’s about THB600,000 per value.
The ministry is currently seeking a contractor to design the stickers,T News reported, and plans to make them available for free download on Dec. 30.
Hopefully whoever designs the stickers doesn’t take inspiration from the recent cinematic adaptation of the “12 Values” shown for free throughout the nation on Father’s Day.
In a segment intended to extol democracy, a scene of smiling children painting a stunning portrait of Adolf Hitler left many in Thailand and abroad scratching their heads earlier this month.
