While part of the century-old community is being lost to redevelopment, Woeng Nakhon Kasem, a historic neighborhood near Chinatown, will still host its annual “Chinese Thanksgiving” tonight and tomorrow.
Chinese opera and film al fresco are highlights at the event, which runs from 7pm to 11pm on Monday and Tuesday nights. A half hour of dragon and lion dance performances start at 5pm.
A schedule and map of the event are available online (Thai only). This year might be the last chance to join.
