Body of newborn boy dumped in trash at Suvarnabhumi

The body of a newborn boy was discovered inside a trash can just outside the terminal of Suvarnabhumi Airport by staff yesterday.

A worker was cleaning outside the arrival hall when she discovered the body wrapped in plastic, according to Bangkok Post, and police believe it might have been dumped by someone before leaving the country.

The infant probably died on hours before it was discovered, according to police Col. Kittipob Chumpoonuch, adding that it seemed to have been frozen prior to being placed in the trash.

The remains will be sent for forensic examination while police seek information about possible suspects seen in security footage.
