Angkor’s ‘Apsara’ to sue over topless temple model

Old photos of an Asian woman posing topless inside the Angkor Wat temple complex in Siem Riep were unearthed by the Internet to great outrage.

While the images appear an attempt to be more artful than pornographic, they’ve gotten the attention of the temple’s caretakers, the Cambodian Apsara Authority, who has vowed to prosecute those responsible.

The temple boob pics first showed up in October, 2013, on “Wanimal,”a blog devoted to featuring topless women in public places.

Many took to the internet to complain about the imagery, despite the fact that pretty much every carving that isn’t a Buddha is a topless woman.

The Apsara Authority said it has yet to identify the photographer or model but believes the group responsible is Chinese, according to Apsara spokesman Long Kosa in an interview with Cambodia Daily.

Just to make sure we’re all sufficiently outraged by this, here are the photos to feed your fury.
