Unconfirmed reports British woman missing in Bangkok found

A British woman reported missing earlier this week in Bangkok may have been found, according to unconfirmed reports online.

The concerned family of 21-year old Hannah Davies, 21, reported her missing after last hearing from her on Friday, when Davies indicated in a Facebook message she was using the laptop of a man who had invited her in and offered her food.

She was last seen on Saturday at The Mall Bang Kapi, according to an online report.

Late last night, a number of messages were posted in the “Bangkok Expats” group on Facebook claiming Davies was found lying in a street and is now being treated at a nearby hospital. Those reports could not be immediately verified.

Davies was staying at the Sawasdee Guesthouse in Khao San Road and was last seen at the guest house the day before she went missing. Her family said she suffered from mental problems and drug abuse.

Davies’ mother said she may need urgent care and can be a danger to herself.
