Exposed to new flavors, American struggle for expression ends at ‘tacos’ and ‘turds’ (VIDEO)

Oh sorry that was plagiarized from Vol. 47 of Buzzfeed’s “Americans comment incomprehensibly about Thai [something],” a series of videos notable not for their witty engagement of foreign flavors but the deplorable ability of Americans to express themselves in their own language.

“Ooh, but it’s got a (…) ooh (…) ooh it’s got a (…) ooh it’s, like, got a tangy orange flavor,” says wide-eyed guy of khanom bueang.

In this episode eight Americans try Thai desserts and are baffled by flavors that can’t be filed under “sweet” or “cheesy.”

“Thai people are all about the Taco!” another guy says, confirming the only foreign culture familiar to Americans is Tex-Mex. Everyone other nation is just like Tex-Mex!

The least popular snack goes to the makham gaaw or tamarind candy which one girl claims is “like a fuck-you after dinner” while the other guy comments that it looks like “turds.”

It could very well be part of Obama’s campaign to demoralize Thailand before provoking a security incident to serve as a pretense for invading the kingdom, according to The Internet.
