Speedy Grandma’s art space will be transformed into a darkroom for an exhibition by American-Swedish photographer Jesper Haynes next month.
Inspired by Andy Warhol after meeting him when he was 16, Jesper Haynes moved to New York. Jesper Haynes New York Darkroom recreates the feeling of being in a darkroom looking over the contact prints of Jesper’s photographic diary from his time living in New York’s downtown from the early 1980s until late 1990s.
The opening reception starts at 7pm on Mar. 6.
