11 injured in Thai Airways Narita-Bangkok flight turbulence

Eleven passengers and cabin crew of a Thai Airways flight from Narita to Suvarnabhumi International Airport were hospitalized after being injured during strong turbulence yesterday.

Flight TG641 was carrying 227 passengers and 22 crew from Tokyo yesterday morning when it was hit by strong turbulence at an altitude of 6,400 meters above the ground.

The pilot landed the plane without further incident at 3:50pm.

The airline immediately assisted with transporting the injured for medical treatment after landing and will pay for their hospital bills, Prachachart reported.
