City police officials are under scrutiny after army soldiers detained two dozen people in raids of illegal gambling operations in Bangkok yesterday.
The Royal Thai police have summoned two metropolitan police commissioners after soldiers raided illegal casinos including at locations including the Don Mueang and Lat Phrao areas, according to Thai PBS.
Local police officials overseeing those areas were transferred and will be investigated for negligence.
