DJs to offer a more diverse ‘Common Ground’ at Grease

Focusing more on the quality of the beats rather than the genre of electronic dance music, “Common Ground” is a new monthly event at Grease that aims to showcase different sounds and styles of electronic music in one night.

Frustrated by a scene he said has become too stagnant, longtime Bangkok DJ Anders “The Outsider” Svensson said the new monthly event will feature a more open format to draw fresh talent, Thai and international, while featuring music outside of what’s become the regular rotation.

He’ll join DJs Andrea Settesoldi, Oum and Dennis Beyer in spinning at the first “Common Ground” session this Saturday.
