Thai AirAsia X buys new bird for new runs to Japan, SoKo

Thai AirAsia X has acquired a third Airbus A330-300 and will expand flights to Japan and South Korea. 

The budget, long-haul carrier invited a Budhhist monk to bless the fuselage, which is emblazoned with the likeness of former South Korean football star Park Ji-sung. 

Starting March 29, Thai AirAsia X will add more flights to Narita Airport in Tokyo, Osaka and Incheon Airport in Seoul, according to state media.
