Natalie Glebova mugs with endangered gibbon

Natalie Glebova, who in 2005 was crowned Miss Universe in Thailand and since remained to become one of the kingdom’s hottest expats, posed with an endangered species while vacationing on Koh Phi Phi last night.

“Cutest gibbon in the cutest little outfit!” Natalie wrote of the poor gibbon, a species regularly exploited for tourists to rent out as a selfie prop.

The photo was removed this morning.

“Oh dear, please educate yourself before posting such photos. http://www.gibbonproject.org/,” reads the top comment.

Not smart, Natalie.
