Wanna be the next hit moviemaker? Then you need to read this!

Chevrolet and MOFILM are organizing a free three-day film-making workshop – specifically for upcoming Southeast Asian filmmakers.

That should be enough to get you moving, but if it isn’t, let us say it again: Chevrolet and MOFILM, whose productions have got people’s work featured during American X-Factor, The Oscars and Superbowl, want to train aspiring moviemakers for free.

The Academy for Southeast Asian Filmmakers (ASAF) is created and delivered by acclaimed, multi award-winning professionals from around the region, and will cover several aspects of the art’s theory and practice, with a focus on developing storytelling skills.

During the course, students will get to work on a real, live brief from Chevrolet, only open to everyone else when ASAF ends.

If you want that stepping-stone to becoming the next big thing, submit an application via www.mofilm.com/ASAF before 31st March, 2015. Those lucky enough to be selected will attend the ASAF workshops in Bangkok on 15th, 16th and 18th May 2015.

Got any questions? Shoot these to the ASAF team: asaf@mofilm.com.

Good luck — we’ll see you on the big screen.
