Death metal with a feminine touch coming from ‘Arch Enemy’

Arch Enemy set out two decades back to become “the most heavy melodic band of all time,” so you can find out yourself whether the Swedish act succeeded next week at Hollywood Hall Rachada.

Not sure what that means, but unlike most death metal growlers, Arch Enemy’s frontdude is actually a frontchick and has produced 10 albums through the years with hits like “My Apocalypse” and “War Eternal.”

They are touring with vocals by Canadian Alissa White-Gluz, who recently replaced their long-time singer Angela Gossow and will hit Hollywood Hall Rachada on March 14.

Children under 10 are not allowed in the concert. General admission tickets are THB1,500 and on sale online.
