Old jeans as landscape paintings at ‘Tangled up in Blue’

Artist Pongsakul Chalao cut and tore pairs of jeans he spent 10 years collecting and put them back together to form landscape paintings of Bangkok.

Inspired by the socio-cultural scene of Bangkok, Pongsakul expresses his concept using all the possible blue-white hues and tones of denim. Fun fact: He sewed it all together while listening only to Bob Dylan.
