Ocean critters to rise up this Earth Day

We can’t continue loving plastic and the ocean – something’s gotta give.

On the occasion of Earth Day on Wednesday, HOF Art Bangkok will call attention to the 71 percent of it covered with water and the the crisis our overuse of plastic has created for the ocean’s health at the “Art of the Ocean” exhibition.

Laos artist Aligna transforms waste such as bottles and clothes hangers into new forms of beauty and on Wednesday will show a menagerie of plastic ocean critters to bring attention to the peril they face.

Plastic flower-making workshops will be held from 4pm to 7pm from Wednesday through April 28, with registration available online.

Art for the Ocean opens at 10am this Earth Day on Wednesday at HOF Art Bangkok.
