Food trucks to circle the wagons at Gateway Ekkamai

Is a food fad over when it moves into the malls? Much as the popularization of farmer’s markets (2011), wine (2012) and craft beer (2013) saw them become shopping center staples, Bangkok’s food trucks will depart from their appointed sois next month to converge on Gateway Ekkamai.

Food Stop, Orn The Road BKK, Mighty Wings BKK, Jungle Juice+Kebabs and more will caravan to the mall, where they say more than 100 shops will also be selling the usual indie-crafty-goodie stuff. So prepare your pockets, people.

The market will run from 3pm onward, May 1 – 3 in front of the mall on the G and M floors.
