W Hosts Haute Boozy Brunch For Foodies And Fashionistas

Presented by

You don’t have to confine your boozy brunching to Thonglor and Sukhumvit.

W Bangkok has revamped its cult hit W Does Brunch at The Kitchen Table this summer with a sexy mix of gastronomy, fashion, cocktail culture, and music we love. Mingle with jetsetters while nibbling on brunch bites and don’t forget to dig into the feast of fashion from W The Store.

The Kitchen Table is just the colorful spot to spend a Saturday. Throw in some cool music, cool people, and we’re hooked. But hands down, our favorite perk of W Does Brunch has to be the culinary lineup from The Kitchen Table chef Thaneht “Keng” Naovarat.

We’re talking brunch buffet classics like fine cheeses, cold cuts, and pastries, but also savory additions like BBQ and ceviché. At last month’s W Does Brunch, we noshed on epic goodies like  golden chocolate eggs and cotton candy.

We’re not kidding about the cheese situation.

The beverage lineup is impressive in its own right with margaritas on the rocks, DIY mimosas, and W’s Iconic gin and tonic. You’re going to want to try a Woohito, W’s takes on the mojito. Our pick is the Raspberry & Black Pepper Woohito with Pampero Blanco rum, raspberry, lime juice, sugar, mint, and some soda water. Slurp.

Make your own mimosa, or three

What sets this weekend revelry apart from other Bangkok brunch spots is the retail buffet full of pieces by local designers. We’re digging the modern, minimalist stuff from Greyscale Shirt, although we’ll wait to put any new clothes on until after we hit the brunch BBQ. Other notable brands include 31 Thanwa, Bliss, and Ogulee.

The brunch affair is available on every first Saturday of the month at THB 2,300++ if you go sans booze, or THB 2,900++ per person for food plus cocktails, wines, beers and bubbles. The tasty mashup of fashion and food runs from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, catering to those who may have stayed up a little too late the Friday night before.
