Our gentle slide from searing to soaking continues this week.
Temperatures are expected to ease off a few degrees into the low-30s while thunderstorms roll through to drop their loads over most of the capital through the weekend.
As summer slips away and the rainy season settles in, the first couple months will remain warm with brief bursts of precipitation.
Don’t expect daily downpours until August.
