What do planes and time have in common? They fly.
Back when Thai Airways international service was a joint operation with Scandinavian Airlines and before air hostesses became “cabin crew professionals,” the airline’s slogan was about napping, and its employees had some pretty spiffy uniforms.
Here are some forgotten photos of their trendy-for-the-times uniforms from the 1960s, shared on the popular Postjung forum, with some exclusive snapshots which say lot about the midair-working atmosphere.
Also included are some photographs from Air Siam, a now-defunct carrier that operated from 1965 to 1976.
