Seven student activists wanted for holding a pro-democracy rally last month are continuing to defy a demand to turn themselves in four days ago.
The Dao Din group from Khon Kaen University issued a cheeky video taunting authorities and urging them to come and arrest them in Loei province, where they have gone to evade detention.
“Here I am waiting for you, but where are you to see me? I wonder when will you be here, when will you be here? You threaten me but where are you?” the student activists sing to a well-known Boy Scout anthem while doing a punky dance.
The group is wanted for rallying May 22 to mark the one-year anniversary of the 2014 coup d’état, provoking official outrage.

The activists then moved to Loei, where their group was formed, to make it more difficult for authorities. They said they have many fond memories of the place and prefer to be arrested there.
