Bangkok’s Instagram users are mad for petite French treat macaron and Japan’s iconic Sushi, according to a survey of the food capitals of the world of Instagram on Photoworld.
Out of 18 foods, from bacon and burritos to Xiaolongbao, Bangkok ranked first in Instagram photos featuring macarons (8.7 percent), following by Seoul (6.7 percent) and Paris (6 percent).
The results are based on numbers of photos hashtagged #macaron.
Bangkok is also shown to have a serious fetish for sushi, as we came in third place for #sushi photos after New York City and Los Angeles.
