Puzzle over ‘hard to understand’ works at RMA Institute

A chance to see the kind of art that it’s own creator says is “hard to understand” opens this evening at RMA Institute.

Ralph Gibson’s exhibition is the part of the Photo Bangkok festival and features more than 30 selected photographs from different places throughout the itinerant, 40-year career of the American photographer.

“My happiness is to create new photo that hard to understand” the artist said and possibly re-translated a few times too many.

Entry is free. The exhibition starts tonight and runs through Oct. 4. The opening reception will be held at 7pm on Aug 5.
