In honor of all moms, the junta has launched a pop-up market selling great gifts for Mother’s Day, namely weight loss products and all things a mom would need.
To celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha yesterday presided over the opening ceremony of the “Creative Industry: Gifts for Mom,” market which features a special exhibition of a wide array of Mother’s Day presents.
The market will be along the Phadung Krung Kasem Canal near Government House for three weeks, and the shops will alternate each week.
This week, the theme is “In-trend Mom” where fashion and textile products are up for grabs, but the true crowd-puller is next week’s “Healthy Modern Mom” theme, where motherhood products including lactation supplements and weight control products will be on sale.
Those are some great gifts.
In the final week, the concept switches to “Beautiful Home by Mom” where wooden furniture and home decor will be displayed.
The market runs until August 23, state media reported.
