Inside a bird nest factory: When CCTV footage tells a story about human lives

The thought that George Orwell’s prediction of a society constantly being monitored by authorities may make some feel uneasy, but this upcoming exhibition will actually turn the CCTV invasion of privacy into an art project.

As part of the Photo Bangkok Festival 2015, “Next Door Neighbor” is an exhibition that features a photo and video installation collected from CCTV footage of a bird nest factory located in Dusit. According to the creators, they “observe the working life of the staff going about their daily routine”. Because that is not creepy at all.

So if you are up for a night full of realisations about how your every step is being watched, then come down to the NACC this Wednesday.
