Tourist police arrested a man selling balloons filled with nitrous oxide at the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan Saturday night.

Sarawuth Yosachan, 30, was arrested with 780 colorful balloons and a tank of nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, during a police patrol at Rinn Beach.

Sarawuth has been charged with producing and selling a “modern drug” without permission.

Sarawuth said he sold the balloons because they make more money for him than drinks. His balloons cost THB100 – 200 each, Daily News reported.
