A woman fainted and fell onto the BTS tracks at Ratchathewi station this morning. The incident temporarily delayed trains and resulted in long long lines at many BTS stations.
Suwadee Hengudom, 22, said she was on her way to work when the next thing she knew she was on the train tracks at 7:45am today.
BTS security guards promptly halted the upcoming train and helped the woman up.
Suwadee was sent to hospital with a cut to her eyebrow, INN News reported.
In the past two years, three people have fallen onto the tracks. Many BTS stations still lack safety doors (which also keep commuters entertained with advertisements.)
