From the luxurious world-class retreats to a quick THB400 Thai massage offered on most streets, it is not surprising Thailand received its well-deserved recognition Monday at the first annual World Spa Awards, the sister event of the prestigious World Travel Awards.
The gala dinner to celebrate the winners was held in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Thailand’s best hotel spa award was won by Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Chiva Som health resort, also in Hua Hin, received Thailand’s Best Wellness Spa award.
The votes were cast by professionals, executives, and tour operators in the spa industry and the public.
