Staff members from the Social Security Office were outraged when a female bikini-clad singer took to the stage and started performing a sexy dance at a concert for the officials last weekend.
Boonsong Thapchaiyuth, secretary-general of the Social Security Office, said he was in charge of planning the concert, and he insisted the original musical line-up did not include the sexy singer’s act.
“We had no intention to organize that kind of lewd show,” Boonsong said.
Some officials at the concert were so appalled by the choice of entertainment that the sexy dance was stopped just two minutes after it had started.
The dance caused such a stir that the Ministry of Labour has decided to set up a committee to look into the incident, reported Khaosod English.
“We have to investigate whether the organizers intentionally [invited her],” the ministry’s permanent secretary Nakhon Silpa-archa said.
“Someone will have to be held responsible for this,” he added.
