Extra holidays added to next year’s calendar

Start planning your trip or stocking up on junk food because Thailand will get four and five-day-long holidays next year.

The cabinet meeting yesterday approved one extra day each for the Coronation and Asanha Bucha holidays.

As the Coronation Day takes place on Thursday, May 5, the government will give us Friday off, making it a four-day-long weekend.

For the Asanha Bucha holiday, we’re in for a five-day-long holiday from July 16-20.
