Four people were injured when the car they were in accelerated off the second floor of Union Mall shopping center’s car park in Lat Phrao on Sunday.
The driver of the Mazda said the accelerator jammed, forcing the car to speed through an iron fence before landing next to a toll booth on the ground below.
The driver, Duangkamol Nakyotham, 36, was unhurt but her four passengers suffered broken legs and arms.
Duangkamol said her car had suffered from the same problem in the past but she took it to a garage to get fixed, reported Thai PBS.
Last year a woman was killed when her car burst through a barrier on the seventh floor in The Mall Bangkapi’s car park.
