Two suspects in the Bangkok bombings that killed 20 and injured around 130 others in August have been indicted by a military court.
Adem Karadag, also known as Bilal Mohammed, and Yusufu Mieraili were indicted on 10 charges today in connection with the deadly Erawan shrine blasts..
The charges included murder, premeditated murder and illegal possession of weapons.
Police say Karadag confessed to leaving the backpack with explosives at the shrine, while Mieraili used a mobile phone to trigger the bomb.
Authorities say the bombers’ main motive was revenge for the Thai government’s crackdown on human trafficking, and deny any religious or political link.
