Ho ho ho: Winter Market Fest is back

We spotted a few people walking around Bangkok in scarves yesterday, so you know what that means. Winter is officially here.

And with the drop in temperatures comes one of the city’s most anticipated holiday markets, Sansiri’s Winter Market Fest. The third edition of this festive event takes place on December 12-13, 2015, 4pm – 10pm at T77, Sukhumvit Soi 77.

The last two installments were a huge success, with Bangkokians coming from all over the city to enjoy the views over San Samran Bridge and the holiday atmosphere.

This year, the festival will feature 130 stalls in 6 separate zones spread across T77’s picturesque property. Browse local fashion brands Smileyhound, Onion, RAMS, SVSS, Daisytrunk, Unpale, Blackheart and more.

There will be equally trendy clothes and accessories for pets, with products from Sketch Pet Products, Sit Stand Stay, Barketek and more popular pet brands.

New co-working space and artisan hub, HUBBA-TO will put on design and creative workshops all day. The official launch of HUBBA-TO will take place at Sansiri’s first community mall, Habito, in April 2016.

Your favorite neighborhood food trucks and restaurants such as Toby’s, Fatbird, Minibar Cafe, Organic Supply, Daniel Thaiger and Forkers will all be there. Have a picnic on the grass in the chill out zone, or enjoy a beer at the Hoegaarden beer garden or a glass of pinot at Grocerant by Jacob’s Creek.

Indulge in desserts by After You and Crumb ice cream. There will be mini concerts by Pod Thanachai and Nop Ponchamni and a great DJ line up at the rooftop Stardust Zone.

Santa’s house has also relocated here for the weekend, complete with giveaways and prizes, including vacations and flights. Now, why do we have a feeling Santa lives in a tastefully decorated 2-bedroom condo with a great view?

Last, but surely not least, stop by the Coconuts booth for some holiday cheer. Find us in between the food trucks and the tunnel of lights.
