Abducted Aussie biker found dead in Chonburi

The Australian ex-motorcycle gang member kidnapped from his home in Pattaya by five men has been found dead.

Wayne Rodney Schneider, 38, a former Hells Angels biker, was found buried at a roadside bush in Chonburi province’s Sattahip district, Thai PBS reported.

The Australian had been spotted on Monday beaten and kidnapped from Jomtien Park Villas housing estate by a gang, who drove him away in a utility truck.

Pattaya police tracked the GPS of the rented truck to the roadside bush, where they found a fresh burial site.

They found Schneider’s naked body buried two metres underground, with signs suggesting he had been beaten and killed before being buried.

An arrest warrant has been issued for suspect Antonio Bagnato, 26, over the initial assault and kidnapping.

Bagnato, a fellow Australian biker in Pattaya, was Schneider’s partner in a Sydney fitness business.

Schneider had a long criminal record and has faced charges of drug trafficking and dealing with proceeds of crime.

He was also on New South Wales’s “Most Wanted” list over the 2006 shooting of a bouncer in Sydney.

Thai and Australian police are working together on the murder case.
