Stars and fans are grieving the death of television star Thridsadee “Por” Sahawong, flooding social media with messages of condolence.

Por died at 11:50am yesterday after spending two months battling complications he developed from the dengue virus, according to a statement from Ramathibodi Hospital.

Among the television stars who posted condolence messages were Panadda Wongphude, Napapa Thantrakul, Araya A. Hargate and Sorayuth Suthassanachinda.

“During the 10 years that I knew you, you were such a good brother, and you were always nice. I will always love you,” wrote Napapa “Pat” Thantrakul.

“Rest in peace, Por. We will do good and help take care of Malee [Por’s daughter]. I love you so much,” wrote Panadda Wongphudee.

Meanwhile, Por’s wife Vanda Sahawong shared a heartbreaking message on Instagram on behalf of their two-year-old daughter “Mali.”

“Daddy Por, listen to Mali. Mali and mommy love you with all our hearts. Mali and mommy miss daddy so much. Although you’re not here with us today, but we’ll remember you in our hearts. Thank you for fighting for us. Thank you for buying us enough time for mommy to grow strong enough to do your duty. You were the perfect dad. You were tired and you fought hard. You did a lot for everybody. Now rest in peace. I love you.”

This morning Por’s body was moved from the hospital to his hometown in Buriram where the funeral will be held this evening.

Por kicked off his stardom in 2004 after he became CLEO’s “Most Eligible Bachelor.” The actor was loved by his fans for his down-to-earth, easygoing personality.
