Get in the mood for love as Japanese Film Festival 2016 celebrates the upcoming Valentine’s Day with screenings of romantic movies.
With the tag line “Shapes of Love”, the festival hosted by Japan Foundation Bangkok and SF Cinema will screen nine Japanese romance films, including recent hits and old classics from top movie directors.

This includes “Beyond the Memories,” a live-action film based on a manga comic about two high-schoolers who try to find love after a painful childhood, while “Love & Peace” is a fantasy drama by director Sion Sono about a man, his crush and a turtle.
The films will be screened at SF World Cinema from Feb. 11-14. Listings and tickets are available on the SF Cinema website and at the cinema.
Tickets cost THB120 and seats are limited.
Apart from Bangkok, the festival will also take place in other provinces including Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, and Surat Thani.
