After showing off his epic stunt skills on Furious Seven, Tony Jaa has apparently landed another big role in the movie sequel “xXx,” which also stars Vin Diesel.
The two action stars posted the same video on their social media accounts yesterday as they reunited on the set of “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage,” the third installment the 2002 film “xXx”.
The film tells the story of Xander Cage (Diesel), the extreme sports athlete-turned-spy for the National Security Agency, who is presumed dead after he was sent on a dangerous mission to infiltrate a group of potential Russian terrorists in Central Europe in the first film. In this sequel, Cage secretly returns to action for a tough new assignment.
The only thing we know about Tony’s role is that he will play a character named “Talon.”
Tony also posted a selfie with Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood actress who will make her Hollywood debut with “xXx.”
