The famous lonely dog at Rama V pier, who was adopted after a sad snapshot of her waiting for her owner went viral, is obviously falling in love again with her new owner.
The dog’s new owner Trakul Pakornkiat today posted a heartwarming video of bonding with her new canine friend, who she had renamed “Tha Ruea,” or “Pier” in English.
Tha Ruea was reportedly separated from her former owner when she fell off the owner’s boat that she lived in.
Every day, for almost a month, locals spotted the dog sitting at the pier and looking out over the Chao Phraya River as if she was looking for her home.
Tha Ruea’s photo quickly circulated on social media on Wednesday as many people offered to give her a good home, but the cute dog was soon picked up by Trakul and driven away in her Mercedes.
