Four uni girls catch their taxi driver ‘masturbating’

Four female university students were shocked when their taxi driver allegedly suddenly started masturbating during their ride yesterday.

The Rajamangala University of Technology students, who were heading from their university in Sathorn to Phra Pradaeng, were horrified, but not enough to stop taking a video, when the cabbie started fapping as he took the Bhumibol Bridge to cross the Chao Phraya River.

“We were in the middle of the bridge, and my friend [who sat in the front] turned her head and mouthed that the driver was masturbating. We were so shocked, so we took a video,” said one of the students, Ploy Maneerat.

Ploy said none of the girls dared to say anything because they could not just get out of the taxi on the bridge, and were scared the taxi driver could hurt them.

“We were scared he might hurt us. What if I was alone? Women who travel alone in cabs all the time, please be careful.”

The video received over 260,000 views after it was shared on the popular Facebook page Youlike, as the comment section turned into a forum for netizens to share their encounters of men masturbating in public.

Ploy also posted a snapshot of the taxi’s license, which identified the alleged masturbator as Wichit Pasitanont.

Ploy wrote she only wanted to share the footage online as a warning to all women. It is unclear if she and her friends have filed a police report.

As the internet gets to work, we’re waiting for the Department of Land Transport to call the cabbie in for questioning and let him go with a THB1,000 fine.
