Thai transgender model Araya Bua is a new rising star in the world of fashion and is sure to have a big impact in the upcoming Miss Tiffany’s Universe beauty pageant.
Photos of the 23-year-old beauty have circulated on local media over the last week after Araya’s New York-based modeling agency Trans Models announced she will be joining the transgender pageant in Pattaya in May.
Araya, who possess the feminine measurements of 33.5-25-34, is reportedly the first Thai to sign a contract with the US agency.
Trans Models was founded by Thai model Peche Di, who featured in Barney New York’s 2014 campaign. The agency represents talented transgender individuals and aims to promote diversity in the fashion industry.
Araya, who is based in the United States for her career, is reportedly back in Bangkok preparing for Miss Tiffany’s Universe, which will be held on May 13.
