Fake shampoo: Cops bust homemade soap in branded bottles scam

Have you ever seen big bottles of your favorite shampoos sold at a local market near your office at a cheap price? Well, these photos explain why.

Facebook page Rich Infinity shared photos of a home in Saraburi province where a couple reportedly refilled old, empty shampoo bottles people threw in the trash with their homemade shampoo.

“Check this out, those who like to buy cheap stuff at markets. Dove, Head and Shoulder, Pantene, Sunsilk, Loreal. They were busted while mixing their shampoo.”

How unsanitary.

Manager reported that Saraburi police busted the employees in the little shampoo factory, which was set up at a home in Kaeng Khoi district.

The couple who owned the house, however, were not at the scene.

According to the investigation, the couple would resell the shampoos to merchants.

The photos went viral over the weekend as netizens shamefully shared their own experience of using cheap shampoos bought from markets.
