Another Thai man became the sad victim of the toilet snake epidemic when he got his backside bitten by a cobra while enjoying some toilet time on Tuesday.
Amporn Chaengsin, 56, who lives in Prachuabkirikhan, almost had a pleasant poo-poo, but as he finished his midday business and started cleaning his rear-end, a cobra emerged from the toilet and attacked his butt cheek.
The snake then retreated into the toilet’s hole, leaving Amporn screaming and bleeding.
Amporn ran out of his house and found a police officer who offered to take him to the hospital, but Amporn insisted he wanted to see the abbot of Nong Hoi Temple, who is an expert on removing snake’s venom.
Abbot Phra Ajarn Sompong inserted a needle coated with herbal medicine into the wound. Black liquid gushed from the fang-sized wounds and, 30 minutes later, Amporn started to feel better and could finally relax, according to Khaosod.

Amporn said he was still traumatized and would like to stay at the temple for further treatment.
And the cobra? Rescue volunteers went to his home and removed the serpent from the toilet before it added matching dimples to Amporn’s other butt cheek.
