Bangkok-bound Nok Air flight seeks emergency landing for cracked window

A Nok Air flight from Ranong to Bangkok had to seek an emergency landing at Chumphon Airport this morning after the captain noticed a crack in the cockpit’s windshield.

Thirty minutes after the bird plane went up the sky, the captain of flight DD7313 announced an emergency landing for the safety of the passengers.

The flight took off at 8am in Ranong and was supposed to arrive in Bangkok at 9:20am.

Sixty-two passengers were transferred to another plane, which delayed their journey two hours.

The cause for the cracked cockpit’s windshield is still being investigated, Daily News reported.
