Government officer posts photos of woman he called ‘ugly creature’ and said ‘How dare it be born?’

A government officer’s Facebook photos went viral for all the wrong reasons on Monday when he posted pictures of a young female gas station worker and wrote a horrific message about her.

Pongsak Kensing, a finance officer for Kor Wang district in Yasothon, posted the photos he took on Monday in Maha Chana Chai with a rude caption about a girl he saw working there.

“News Highlight: I came across a strange and rare creature because it works in shifts. #What an ugly human being? #How dare it be born?” he wrote.

Netizens went nuts in a bad way, criticizing and threatening Pongsak for judging a stranger for the way they look, and for doing it so publically. He also was criticized for taking photos of someone without their permission and posting them.

“He’s a civil servant and looks mature. He should know much better. The place he works for should consider firing him,” one Facebook user wrote, according to Bangkok Post.

People even visited the station where Nong Namtao, the girl in the photos, works. When she learned about the mean-spirited post, she broke down crying.

Today, Pongsak went back to the gas station and apologized to the girl, but not before trying to claim that his Facebook page was hacked and he didn’t make the post. No one was buying that.

After a photo was circulated of him meeting Nong and apologizing, he posted a message saying, “I hope this issue ends today.” We get the feeling this joker has not learned his lesson.
