Weddings are a big deal for most women, especially when it comes to the dress. One will have to go through so many to find the perfect dress that you won’t regret wearing when you look at the pictures in 20 years.
Thai actress Noey Chotika apparently couldn’t make up her mind about the perfect dress, so she chose six different wedding gowns to wear over the course of her two weeks of wedding festivities.
This included her bachelorette party, wedding rituals, press conference, the wedding itself, and the afterparty.
First dress – Bachelorette party
Her first dress already seemed like the epitome of wedding dresses, being big, poofy, and white. Depending on who you ask, she either looked like a princess or a giant frosted cupcake in her vintage wedding dress from Chuan Pisamai BRIDE.
Second dress – The Khanmark procession
Noey dressed in pink from head to toe during the khanmark procession, wearing a traditional Thai outfit from Arada Couture.
Third dress – Rod nam sang
Another stunning Thai dress came from Arada Couture for the rod nam sang, a traditional wedding ritual where the families soak the bride and groom’s hands with water and give them a blessing. It’s surprising that the poor girl didn’t strain a muscle or break a bone under the weight of all that jewelry.
Fourth dress – Press conference
Noey chose a beautiful beaded dress with a V-neck and dramatic low-cut back for her press conference. The gown, from Naeem Khan, was a stunner in photos, which is probably exactly what Noey hoped. Wouldn’t want a bad picture now, would we?
Fifth dress – Actual wedding
And, after much fanfare, here comes the bride, all dressed…yet in another white gown. This time, it was a haute couture affair from Zuhair Murad. She was definitely keeping the best for (almost) last.
Sixth dress – After party
She decided to end things with a glittery bang, closing her magical event wearing a sparkly silver dress from Jenny Packham to the after party.
While the news of her outrageous wedding dress changes surprised Metro UK. It’s nothing new to us.
It’s normal for Thai celebrities to go all out when they’re getting hitched — and when we say “all out,” we mean multiple wedding dresses and even flying abroad for a dress fitting.
It’s their special day, and they want the memories to last — just in case the marriage doesn’t.
