Korean surgery show starts second season to transform Thai faces (PHOTOS)

The Thai edition of popular Korean television show “Let Me In Thailand” has kicked off its second season with the transformation of two Thai women, who were flown off to South Korea to go under the knife.

The season started with Jitraporn Panboo, a college student who said she, “didn’t have a chin.”

Studying hotel and tourism management, Jitraporn said it would be difficult for her to have a career since the industry hires based on good looks, adding she had been teased for her appearance all her life.

“At university, people look at me and laugh. I feel like some kind of monster,” Jitraporn said.

After a new face, Jitraporn said she will work to bring her family a better a life and finally buy a new house for her mother and sister.

The second contestant is Namthip Hinkong, whose jaw was twisted in a childhood accident.

Working as a sales representative, Namthip had trouble speaking to customers because of her jaw. However, her ultimate dream is to become a model.

“I dream to be a model. I tried casting but they said someone with a face like me couldn’t be a model,” Namthip said.

Now sporting a more traditionally beautiful face, Namthip said she feels like she has been lit from within with a new confidence. She has started taking a modeling course in order to pursue her dream.
