Thai crayfish farmer slays Dragon Ball theme song in The Voice Thailand (VIDEO)

A Thai crayfish farmer and part-time singing teacher got all four coaches to turn their chairs to witness his epicness when he nailed the Dragon Ball theme song, Cha La Head Chala.

A blind audition video by Dithawat “Pond” Chaikaewrujikorn has scored over four million views in just four days as his cover of the much beloved Japanese anime was picked up by international blogs and newspapers.

Dithawat told the coaches that he personally enjoys singing anime songs and that his favorite is Saint Seiya. The dude then proceeded to sing the theme songs of Saint Seiya and Doraemon for extra bonus points.

At the end, Dithawat chose his coach based on who could answer his anime trivia question. It turns out that Coach Joey Boy won Dithawat as he could name a villain in Dragon Ball as requested.

The Voice Thailand Season 5 kicked off last month with an impressive blind audition. Another contestant who won the hearts of international The Voice fans was Witthawat Sankonlakij, who scored over 11 million views with his cover of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell.
